Medicare is a US government owned health insurance program offering medical insurance to seniors aged 65 and over. Medicare also provides coverage for younger people with disabilities and those with chronic health diseases like permanent kidney failure and transplants. There are two types of the standard Medicare health insurance, Part A for hospital insurance, Part B doctors’ services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services

- These part C plans are of various types, for instance, the plans for Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). HMO plans utilize in-network doctors and require referrals for specialists.
- Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)plans give diverse rates based on in-network or out-of-network facilities.
- Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS)is special payment policy option that offer professional flexibility.
- Special Needs Plans (SNPs) provide assistance with medical costs for prolongedhealth conditions.
- Medical Savings Account (MSA)is medical savings account option combined with high deductible fitnesspolicies.
